The Opportunity

As the Senior Optical Assistant, you'll become an integral part of the patient journey and a key member of the boutique team.

You'll combine your dispensing expertise with your natural ability to build rapport, ensuring every patient enjoys an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a warm, polished, and personalised welcome to every patient
\n
• Styling luxury eyewear and offering tailored frame and lens recommendations
\n
• Dispensing premium eyewear with confidence and attention to detail
\n
• Managing appointments, patient enquiries, and practice administration
\n
• Carrying out adjustments, collections, and aftercare to the highest standard
\n
• Maintaining the immaculate presentation of the boutique
\n
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
\n
• Taking ownership, using initiative, and contributing ideas to continually enhance the patient experience

About You

\n

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys delivering exceptional service and takes pride in every patient interaction. You'll thrive in a boutique environment where attention to detail matters and where creating meaningful relationships is just as important as your technical optical knowledge.

You'll ideally have:

\n
• Previous Optical Assistant experience, ideally at Senior level
\n
• Strong dispensing knowledge and confidence recommending premium lenses and eyewear
\n
• A passion for luxury retail, fashion, or boutique customer service
\n
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• A polished, professional, and approachable manner
\n
• The confidence to work proactively and take ownership
\n
• A genuine desire to be part of a practice that continually strives for excellence
