What is this role about?

\n

ATeamLeaderleads ateamof Employment Specialists in the provision of services to support caseloads of jobseekers into employment. The role is responsible for managing the performance, productivity and wellbeing of thisteamand supports theteamthrough observation, coaching and development to exceed their targets; resolving escalated complaints; ensuring the maintenance of key relationships with partners and timely reporting of key performance indicators (KPI’s).

People Motivation, Coaching and Development

\n

TheTeamLeaderensures the smooth running and productive dynamics of theteamby acting as a lynchpin between all key roles involved in the participant journey towards sustained employment.

\n

\n

Performance Management and Delivery

\n

ATeamLeadermanages theteamto focus on all elements of the participant journey to sustainable employment, identifying and overcoming blocks, obstacle or inefficiencies in the process through observation and analysis, ensuring that performance targets are exceeded.

\n

\n

External Relationships and Stakeholder Management

\n

ATeamLeaderensures that theirteammaintains constructive and effective internal relationships with other functions and departments and a positive set of relationships with fund holders, referral sources, partner organisations and political stakeholders in the wider community.

\n

\n

Finance and Facilities

\n

ATeamLeaderis responsible for ensuring the financial resources and facilities of their office are maintained in good order.

\n

\n

Quality and Continuous Improvement

\n

ATeamLeadercontributes constructively to the overall development of our service delivery, suggesting and making improvements continually to enhance productivity, the customer service experience and the quality of our claims and participant outcomes.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Previous direct line management of ateam

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience in a sales, customer service or recruitment industry

  • \n
  • \n

    Track record of working and achieving targets personally as well as managingteamtargets

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience in people management including training, coaching, performance management and recruitment.

  • \n
  • \n

    Strong administration and IT skills

  • \n
  • \n

    Assertiveness, Resilience and good Decision making skills

  • \n
  • \n

    A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.

  • \n
  • \n

    GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
