Aircraft Painter - Business AviationLocation: South East London (Biggin Hill area)Job Type: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join a leading Business Aviation MRO facility in the South East. This state-of-the-art service centre supports a wide range of maintenance inputs, modifications, and aircraft upgrades, working on some of the most advanced business jets in the industry.This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing operation offering long-term stability and exposure to high-end aircraft projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including stripping, sanding, and cleaningApply primers, base coats, and finishing paints to aircraft surfaces and componentsMask and protect sensitive aircraft areas during painting processesCarry out paint touch-ups and finishing work to a high standardInterpret engineering drawings and job cardsApply decals, vinyl appliqués, and custom designsConduct surface inspections and rectify imperfectionsSupport aircraft movement and general hangar activities when requiredEnsure all work is completed in line with safety and quality proceduresSkills & Experience Required:Proven experience as an Aircraft Painter (ideally within Business Aviation or MRO environment)Strong knowledge of paint systems (high solids, conventional, lacquer, etc.)Experience using spray guns, paint pots, and associated equipmentAbility to apply decals and vinyl to aircraft surfacesSkilled in surface preparation including sanding, buffing, and polishingKnowledge of metallic paint applications and blending techniques (desirable)High attention to detail with a focus on delivering a premium finishAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer:Opportunity to work within a leading Business Aviation environmentExposure to high-end aircraft and complex paint projectsLong-term career progression within a growing organisationSupportive and professional working environmentFor more information and to register your interest please apply with a copy of your up to date.
