Management Accountant - 12-Month FTCLondon | Hybrid Working | Study Support AvailableYour new companyAn established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. There is potential for the contract to be extended beyond the initial term to support a comprehensive handover and the ongoing needs of the business. This opportunity would suit a part-qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant looking to broaden their experience within a professional services environment while continuing their studies with the support of an experienced finance team.Your new role

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
\n
• Producing KPI reports and monthly management information packs
\n
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
\n
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
\n
• Supporting statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including ONS submissions
\n
• Posting payroll journals and liaising with internal stakeholders
\n
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and reforestation processes
\n
• Delivering ad-hoc financial analysis and Excel-based reporting
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• ACCA or CIMA part-qualified and actively studying
\n
• Previous experience in a management accounting or finance role
\n
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
\n
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is essential.
