Senior Architectural Technician Edinburgh Up to £50,000 Are you a Senior Architectural Technician looking for your next opportunity? My client is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in the technical delivery of commercial projects, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams while mentoring junior colleagues. Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technician role: Lead the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages. Produce and oversee high-quality technical drawings, detailing and construction information. Develop, coordinate and manage Revit models throughout project delivery. Coordinate with architects, consultants and the wider project team to ensure successful project outcomes. Support project planning, programming and technical coordination. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders. Mentor and support junior technicians and contribute to the development of the wider team. Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice. Manage your workload and assist in coordinating project resources to meet deadlines. Attend site visits and travel throughout the UK to support project delivery where required. Requirements for this Senior Architectural Technician role: HNC, HND or Degree in Architectural Technology, or equivalent industry experience. Significant experience delivering Commercial projects within the UK. Proficiency in Revit is essential. Experience working within BIM environments. Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing and Building Regulations. Good understanding of the UK planning and construction process. Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members. Comfortable working in a client-facing role. Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Willingness to travel throughout the UK when required.Interested?
