Credit Controller

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Client in their expanding and well-established Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts, proactively collecting outstanding payments and reducing aged debt

• Building strong relationships with customers while resolving account queries and disputes efficiently

• Reconciling customer accounts, investigating discrepancies, and managing cash allocations

• Issuing invoices, statements, reminder letters, and other account documentation

• Monitoring aged debt reports and providing regular updates on collection performance

• Leading arrears review meetings and identifying opportunities to improve collections

• Working closely with Finance and other internal departments to resolve queries and improve collection KPIs

• Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining strong credit control procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year’s recent Credit Control experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment

• Strong account reconciliation, cash allocation, and query resolution skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities

• Confident working independently and managing challenging situations professionally

• Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to priorities workloads effectively
