Project Manager - Control & Instrumentation (C&I)Location: Sizewell B Power Station (On site 5 days a week)Sector: NuclearMorson Edge is supporting a major engineering organisation delivering critical projects across the UK nuclear fleet. Were looking to speak with experienced Project Managers with a Control & Instrumentation (C&I) background who are looking to play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects within one of the UKs most highly regulated industries.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established project delivery team supporting long-term investment programmes at Sizewell B Power Station, working on projects that are fundamental to the safe and reliable operation of the UKs nuclear infrastructure.Youll be responsible for leading the delivery of C&I projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, construction, commissioning and key client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.The OpportunityAs Project Manager, youll take ownership of a portfolio of Control & Instrumentation projects, driving delivery throughout the full project lifecycle. Youll work alongside experienced engineering and project professionals within a collaborative environment that offers genuine opportunities for career progression into larger and more complex programmes.While the role is predominantly site-based at Sizewell B, there is flexibility to support hybrid working where project requirements allow.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the successful delivery of Control & Instrumentation projects across the full project lifecycle.Develop and manage project execution strategies, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, procurement, construction and commissioning.Manage project risks, opportunities and change control processes.Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, contractors and internal delivery teams.Ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with nuclear safety standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures.Monitor project performance, budgets and programme, providing regular reporting to senior stakeholders.Support the preparation of business cases, project approvals and investment justifications where required.About YouWere particularly interested in candidates who combine strong project management capability with a solid understanding of Control & Instrumentation engineering within highly regulated environments.Youll ideally have:Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.APMP, APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management qualification.Demonstrable experience managing engineering projects through the full project lifecycle.Previous experience delivering Control & Instrumentation (C&I), Electrical or multidisciplinary engineering projects.Good understanding of engineering design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities.Experience managing project cost, programme, risk and commercial performance.Knowledge of CDM regulations, health & safety legislation and quality management processes.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams.Experience within nuclear, power generation, defence, oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industries would be highly advantageous.Whats on OfferOpportunity to work on nationally significant nuclear infrastructure projects.Long-term project pipeline with excellent career development opportunities.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid and flexible working arrangements where project requirements permit.Support towards professional development and chartership.Collaborative and supportive project environment with experienced technical and project professionals.If youre an experienced Project Manager with a C&I background looking to work on technically challenging projects within the nuclear sector, wed be keen to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
