Job Description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company who supply to worlds power industry.Key ResponsibilitiesTime Studies for different operations on the shop floorCreate Routings for different product types or product familiesSupport Operations Planner with releasing Works Orders and ensuring all documentation has been uploaded correctly in MRP / SharePoint.Work with Contracts, Quality and Engineering to ensure that the technical documentation is correct and updated when requiredEnsure compliance with Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Requirements in all industrial activitiesContinually review and update data input in MRP (logins on jobs, operation confirmations)Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and productivity.Monitor process performance and recommend improvements.Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.Beneficials Skills / Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Over 2 years' experience in process engineering in manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience of working with switchgear / LV / HV productsExperience with process validation and statistical process control (SPC).Excellent I.T. skills with working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience working with ERP / MRP systemsFlexibility to adapt to changeGood attention to detailAbility to work to strict timelinesGood interpersonal skills with a 'can-do' attitudeAdditional Details:Salary negotiable dependant on experience37.5 hours per week, office based25 days holiday per year plus bank holidaysCompany Profit Share SchemeHealthcare scheme and Employee Assistance ProgrammeEV salary sacrifice schemePensionParking on siteTPBN1_UKTJ
