Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their operational leadership team.The RoleAs Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Leading the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects across the North WestManaging complex highways, bridge, Section 278, and infrastructure schemes from inception through to completionProviding leadership and direction to Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and site teamsEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsDeveloping and maintaining detailed construction programmesManaging client relationships and acting as the key point of contact throughout project deliveryWorking closely with commercial teams to monitor project performance, budgets, and profitabilityIdentifying and mitigating project risks while implementing effective solutionsEnsuring compliance with all contractual, health & safety, environmental, and quality requirementsSupporting business development through maintaining strong client relationships and identifying future opportunitiesThe Ideal CandidateThe successful Senior Project Manager will have:Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within the civil engineering sectorEssential experience delivering Roads, Bridges, and Section 278 worksExperience working for a recognised civil engineering contractorStrong knowledge of NEC contracts and civil engineering project deliveryExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teamsStrong commercial awareness and programme management experienceSMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualificationsHNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction disciplineFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salary of £75,000 - £85,000Attractive benefits packageOpportunity to join one of the UK's most established civil engineering contractorsExposure to high-profile highways and infrastructure projectsLong-term career progression within a growing operational leadership teamOngoing professional development and trainingSupportive, collaborative, and safety-focused working environmentApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
