Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Location: Aberdeen Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK. The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding region. THE ROLE As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures. Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will manage a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248 Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports Collecting bulk samples and maintaining accurate site records Working across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams Ensuring all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements Excellent communication and report-writing skills Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively Full UK driving licence Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work WHAT'S ON OFFER Competitive salary Company vehicle provided Company pension scheme Ongoing training and career development Structured workload with strong operational support Varied commercial and public sector projects Permanent, long-term opportunity within a respected consultancy If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on (phone number removed) or email
