Role Overview\n
\nWe are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Drivers Mates to join a busy delivery team. You will support the driver in delivering kitchen units and appliances directly to customers homes, including flats and properties with stairs. This is a physically demanding role and requires someone who is comfortable with manual handling throughout the working day.\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Assisting the driver with the safe loading and unloading of kitchens and associated items
\n
• Delivering goods into the customers room of choice (including upstairs where required)
\n
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
\n
• Working safely and following manual handling guidelines
\n
• Using delivery notes and recording paperwork as needed
\n
• Ensuring vehicles are kept tidy and goods handled carefully
\n
• Working as part of a 2-person team to plan each delivery appropriately
\n

About You\n
\nTo succeed in this role, you will need to be:\n
\n

\n
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items
\n
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
\n
• Confident interacting with customers in their homes
\n
• A good team player with a helpful attitude
\n
• Able to work long shifts (typically between 812 hours per day)
\n
