Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, focusing on individual learning and development needs.
  • \n
  • Help implement Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets effectively.
  • \n
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and social skills, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
  • \n
  • Work closely with the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to ensure consistent support and progress in pupils' educational journeys.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN, whether in a school or care setting.
  • \n
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to dealing with children.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
  • \n
