Bookkeeper

P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing Accountancy Firm based in South Lanarkshire, to recruit a Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience working within an Accountancy Practice. This is a varied role which can offer progression in a small friendly team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing own set of clients in preparing working papers, financial statements
\n
• Bookkeeping duties
\n
• Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts.
\n
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
\n
• Using a wide range of software such as Xero, Zohobooks, Quickbooks, Taxcalc and Engager
\n
• Assisting the Accountant
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Previous bookkeeping experience
\n
• Ideally have experience with Sage
\n
• Proficient in software such as Xero and Quickbooks
\n
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n

My client offers a salary of 28 - 33K DOE plus benefits as well as being part of a great team environment!
