Solution Architect - Identity & Access Management (IAM)Hybrid Sheffield - 3 days per week onsite£575 - 600 per day Inside IR35Initial contract until end of the year with view to extend long-termWe're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major financial services transformation programme focused on modernising enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities.This is an opportunity to play a key technical leadership role in designing the next generation of identity services, helping shape secure, scalable and cloud-native solutions within a large, complex enterprise environment.Working closely with architects, engineering teams, security specialists and business stakeholders, you'll define solution architecture, establish technical standards and guide delivery across a large-scale IAM transformation programme.What You'll Be DoingDefine end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, data and infrastructure domains.Produce High Level Designs (HLDs), Low Level Designs (LLDs) and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).Translate business, security and regulatory requirements into secure technical solutions.Design modern IAM capabilities covering:Authentication and AuthorisationHuman, Agent and Workload IdentityIdentity FederationAPI SecurityPolicy-as-CodeSecrets Management and PKIDesign cloud-native architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes .Define integration patterns between identity platforms, applications and infrastructure.Develop resilient, highly available and scalable architectures.Support Architecture Review Boards and technical governance.Review supplier designs and provide technical assurance across multiple workstreams.Work closely with Product Owners and engineering teams throughout delivery.Mentor engineers and promote architectural best practice.Evaluate new technologies and contribute to the long-term architecture roadmap.Essential Skills & ExperienceStrong background in Enterprise Solution ArchitectureExtensive experience delivering Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutionsAuthentication, Authorisation and Identity Federation (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, SCIM)Zero Trust ArchitectureAgent Identity and Workload IdentityCloud Architecture, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Kubernetes and Service MeshAPI Architecture and API SecurityEvent-Driven ArchitecturePolicy-as-Code (OPA, Cedar or similar)PKI, Certificates and Secrets ManagementDevSecOps and CI/CDHigh Availability, Disaster Recovery and Resilience DesignSecurity ArchitectureArchitecture Governance and Design ReviewsStrong stakeholder management and technical leadership experienceIf you're an experienced Solution Architect with a strong IAM background and enjoy designing secure, enterprise-scale cloud solutions, we'd love to speak with you.Cathcart Technology is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
