Project Manager - Build contracts ( Industrial / Logistics facilities)Location: Leiston, Suffolk (4/5 days onsite)Permanent | Full-timeSalary: £72,500 - £82,500 depending on experinceBenefits:- 28 days annual leave + bank holidays increasing to 30 days after 5 years- Up to 5% bonus- Pension: up to 7.5% employee contribution and 15% employer contribution- Flexible BenefitsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Delivery Project Manager to join the Main Site Development team at Sizewell C - one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.You will lead the d esign, procurement, and construction delivery of a defined infrastructure package, f ocused on industrial buildings and associated external works. Managing the full project lifecycle, you'll ensure delivery is safe, on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of contract delivery and lead mul-ti-disciplinary teams across complex construction activities.Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver procurement strategies, including defining Employer's Requirements- Lead tendering, evaluation, and award of Design & Build contracts- NEC3 or 4 and experience in the delivery of either warehouses or logistics parks or JCT- Manage contractor performance across programme, cost, and quality- Ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective, and aligned to programme- Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, contractors, and surrounding works- Oversee large-scale industrial construction including buildings and external works- Manage risk, change, and budget (incl. reporting to stakeholders)- Lead and support delivery teams, including Assistant Project Managers- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement across internal and external partiesProject ScopeContracts ranging from £250k to £150mDelivery of industrial buildings, warehouses, roads, utilities, and logistics areasLeadership of small teams and coordination with large contractor workforcesAbout YouEssential:Proven experience delivering large industrial or logistics facilitiesFamiliarity with NEC and/or FIDIC contractsInterface management experience between design, planning and constructionStrong background in Design & Build contract procurement and deliveryExperience across design, procurement, and construction phasesKnowledge of structural steel, heavy-duty slabs, and external worksExperience managing contractors in complex, regulated environmentsStrong understanding of cost, programme, risk, and change controlDegree-qualified and ideally professionally charteredDesirable:- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors- Knowledge of CDM regulations and nuclear quality standards- Experience with crane systems or mechanical handling integration- Background in logistics hubs or manufacturing facilitiesDo you have experience in progressing designs of large logistics plots through the RIBA stages?Have you delivered major projects using NEC3 or 4 and have experience in the delivery of either warehouses or logistics parks?Do you have experience procuring design and build contracts and then executing the construction?TPBN1_UKTJ
