Job Description

Were working with a large pan-European manufacturing business which operates 7 days a week that is actively seeking to add an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician to join its site Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer40 hours per week - Monday to Friday based on Double Day shift 6am-2pm/2pm-10pmParticipation in weekend On Call Rota (approx 1 in 5).Location: nr Chippenham, WiltshireSalary: Circa £40,000 (plus on £3800 annual on call allowance)The positions responsibilities are:Reactive Maintenance on automated production machineryPre-planned Maintenance (PPM) - Input to and carry out preventive maintenance routinesMechanical fault findingElectrical fault finding with and without diagrams (three phase and control systems)Fault finding and repair on hydraulic or pneumatic systemsSmall installation projectsContinuous Improvement to maintain optimal machine efficiencyTo keep clean any areas in which you are working, including transit areas to and from the workshop, the workshop and storesSupport the Operations team in achieving targetsComplying to the companys Health and Safety policies and proceduresContributing to cost effective technical solutionsDeliver to the operational expectationsBe part of a weekend call-out rotaTo be successful, we would like you to have:A recognised industrial Electrical qualification 18th Edition and Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent) is preferredHave experience working as a Shift Engineer or as a dedicated Electrical or Multiskilled Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.Experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment is critical, print, packaging or related industries would be helpful.Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to read and interpret engineering diagramsExperience with maintenance PPM and RM programmes.Ideally experience working a buddy system with a Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer.Have good communication, organisational and team work skills.Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.This is a great opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in a key maintenance engineering role working on large scale machinery in a time-sensitive manufacturing environment.Unfortunately, we are not able to provide sponsorship at this stageTPBN1_UKTJ
