This is a front-line operational support role where youll play an important part in the smooth running of the site, welcoming drivers and visitors, coordinating vehicle movements, and ensuring accurate recording of weight and production data.Youll be joining a close-knit team in a busy site environment where no two days are the same. Alongside the weighbridge and administration responsibilities, youll also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge across wider site operations. If you enjoy working with people, take pride in staying organised, and want to build a long-term career within operations, this could be a great next step.What You'll Be DoingWeighing vehicles in and out of site and accurately producing the relevant documentationGreeting drivers and visitors, answering incoming calls and carrying out site inductionsCoordinating dispatch activities across road, rail and barge, working closely with planners, transport teams, drivers and site staffProcessing daily production data and updating operational spreadsheets using Google applications and internal systemsSupporting the administration of site Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) processes to ensure records and documentation remain up to dateWho you areYoure confident working in a busy office or operational environment and enjoy interacting with a variety of peopleYou have strong communication skills and can build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and driversYoure organised, reliable and capable of managing multiple tasks at the same timeYoure comfortable using workplace systems and applications, including Google Sheets and other PC-based softwareYou take a proactive and conscientious approach to your work, with strong attention to detailYoure keen to learn, develop new skills and gain broader exposure across site operationsWe are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
