\nA well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Ealing Broadway is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from January 2027 until July 2027, with the possibility of the role extending beyond the initial contract.

The Role
\nThe successful candidate will:
\n- \n
- Teach a Year 1 class from January 2027 \n
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum \n
- Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and early reading provision \n
- Support pupils' progress across reading, writing, mathematics, and the wider curriculum \n
- Use assessment effectively to identify next steps in learning \n
- Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 1 teacher and wider KS1 team \n
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues \n
Requirements
\nThe school is looking for a teacher who:
\n- \n
- Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) \n
- Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 \n
- Has a secure understanding of phonics and the KS1 curriculum \n
- Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement \n
- Has strong classroom management and organisational skills \n
- Works effectively as part of a team \n
