Are you an experienced RICS Registered Valuer for flexible consultancy work?

We're recruiting for a Residential Surveyor to join a well-established, independent residential surveying practice to cover Tanton and the wider Somerset area.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Surveyor seeking a flexible consultancy position with a consistent pipeline of instructions, strong administrative support and the opportunity to increase workload as desired.

The Role

As a Residential Surveyor, you will:

• Undertake mortgage valuations for a range of lender clients
\n
• Complete RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
\n
• Complete RICS Level 3 Building Surveys
\n
• Produce accurate, professional reports in line with RICS standards and lender requirements
\n
• Manage your own diary and workload efficiently
\n
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection and reporting process
\n
• Maintain compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory standards
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
\n

Residential Surveyor Requirements:

\n
• AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
\n
• RICS Registered Valuer (VRS) status is essential
\n
• Proven experience carrying out mortgage valuations
\n
• Experience completing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys
\n
• Strong knowledge of residential property construction and defects
\n
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
\n
• Highly organised, professional and self-motivated approach
\n
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
\n
