A highly respected, employee-owned Building Control consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Building Control to join its Hinckley office and become a key member of the Senior Management Team.
\nThe successful Associate Director - Building Control will take on a dual strategic and operational position, combining senior leadership responsibilities with team management and hands-on project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate Director - Building Control seeking genuine influence over business growth, service development and future company direction.
The Associate Director - Building Control's Role\nThe Associate Director - Building Control will lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors while overseeing the consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control, fire safety and associated consultancy services.
\nAlongside contributing to business strategy, the Associate Director - Building Control will manage their own portfolio of clients and projects. The Associate Director - Building Control will also support operational performance, workload planning, technical standards and team development.
\nResponsibilities will include:

- Contributing to the strategic direction of the business \n
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Building Inspectors \n
- Overseeing workloads, performance and service delivery \n
- Acting as the Registered Building Inspector for allocated projects \n
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships \n
- Supporting the growth of Building Control and consultancy services \n
- Ensuring projects meet regulatory and professional standards \n
- Balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery \n
The successful Associate Director - Building Control will have extensive Building Control experience and a strong understanding of current Building Safety Regulator requirements.

- Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G or 3H \n
- Strong Building Control experience \n
- Proven leadership or team management experience \n
- Relevant professional qualification with CABE, RICS or equivalent \n
- Strong commercial and client management skills \n
- Excellent technical, organisational and decision-making ability \n
- Confident balancing strategic leadership with project delivery \n

- £100,000 - £120,000 \n
