HR Coordinator Location: SouthamptonSalary: £35,000–£37,500, depending on experienceWorking pattern: Full time, Monday to FridayHybrid working: Three days in the office and two days from home We are partnering with a highly regarded, established professional services firm to recruit an experienced HR Coordinator. This is a broad and responsible opportunity within a supportive HR team, offering exposure across HR operations, employee engagement, learning and development, HR systems and the full employee lifecycle. The position is considerably broader than a traditional HR Assistant role and would suit someone with several years of HR experience who is ready to take greater ownership and become a trusted point of contact within the team. The Role You will provide accurate, responsive and commercially focused HR support across the organisation. Responsibilities will include:\n

- Coordinating new-starter and onboarding processes \n
- Preparing contracts, letters and employee documentation \n
- Managing pre-employment checks and induction arrangements \n
- Tracking probation periods and contractual changes \n
- Maintaining personnel files and employee records \n
- Processing salary, promotion and organisational updates \n
- Supporting payroll-related administration \n
- Coordinating leaver processes \n
- Responding to first-line HR queries \n
- Supporting employee-relations documentation and meetings \n
- Assisting with benefits, recognition and wellbeing initiatives \n
- Maintaining HR templates, policies and guidance documents \n

- Maintain accurate employee information \n
- Process changes to roles, salaries, reporting lines and contracts \n
- Produce standard and bespoke reports \n
- Support colleagues with routine system queries \n
- Help develop reporting functionality \n
- Review reports for accuracy, omissions and inconsistencies \n
- Analyse and manipulate HR data using Excel \n

- Coordinating trainee qualification pathways \n
- Supporting examination and registration processes \n
- Tracking training and qualification deadlines \n
- Liaising with employees, managers and external professional bodies \n
- Administering learning and career-development activity \n
- Supporting induction programmes \n
- Coordinating development conversations \n

- Strong HR administration and employee-lifecycle experience \n
- Experience maintaining confidential employee data \n
- Confidence using an HRIS or employee database \n
- Strong Excel and reporting skills \n
- Excellent attention to detail \n
- Clear and professional written communication \n
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines \n
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders \n
- A proactive and curious approach \n
- The maturity to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team \n
