\nAaron Manufacturing is a leading precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to customers within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear and oil & gas industries.
\nAs our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our Quality team.
\nThis role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who enjoys ensuring every component leaving the workshop meets exact customer specifications.
\nThe Role:
\nWorking closely with our machinists and management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring components meet customer requirements before dispatch.
\nYour duties will include:
\n- \n
- Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections. \n
- Producing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR). \n
- Completing inspection documentation. \n
- Using a wide range of precision measuring equipment. \n
- Inspecting precision-machined components to tight tolerances. \n
- Investigating non-conforming products. \n
- Working with production teams to identify corrective actions. \n
- Supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. \n
- Releasing conforming products for dispatch. \n
About You:
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Previous Mechanical Inspection experience. \n
- Engineering or manufacturing background. \n
- Experience inspecting precision engineered components. \n
- Understanding of ISO9001 quality standards. \n
- Excellent attention to detail. \n
- Computer literacy. \n
- Good communication skills. \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- FAIR experience. \n
- Aerospace quality experience. \n
- CMM experience (if applicable). \n
