Receptionist / Administrator – Adult Social Care (Learning Disabilities)Business Support Officer Location: West LondonPay Rate: £21.52 PAYE | £27.35 UmbrellaHours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 4:30pm Contract: Ongoing Temporary (Long-Term Opportunity)We are urgently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator (Business Support Officer) to join a newly developed Education, Health & Wellbeing Hub supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs with a local authorityThis is a key front-facing role within a busy centre, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a professional, compassionate approach to working with vulnerable adults, families, and professionals. This is an ongoing position with long-term potential.The RoleYou will act as the first point of contact for the centre, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and efficient reception and administrative service. Responsibilities include:\n

- Managing the front desk, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately \n
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries \n
- Coordinating and updating transport arrangements for residents \n
- Maintaining accurate records, registers, and usage data \n
- Supporting communication with families, carers, and external professionals \n
- Monitoring health & safety logs, reporting repairs, and conducting daily checks \n
- Managing post, supplies, and general office organisation \n
- Supporting events, meetings, and centre communications \n

- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Administrator, or Front Office professional \n
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and empathetic manner \n
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities \n
- Confident using Microsoft Office and office systems \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Comfortable working within a social care or public sector setting \n

- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months (essential) \n
- Willingness to work occasional weekends on a rota basis (with days off in lieu) \n
