Finance Manager

Our client is an established SME operating within a specialist environment. Backed by a larger international organisation, they have built a strong reputation for delivering quality products and services to customers across the UK. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a broad and autonomous Finance Manager position with responsibility for leading the finance function. You'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, produce timely management information, manage cashflow, and ensure accurate reporting to the wider group.Key responsibilities:\n

• Manage all aspects of the day-to-day finance function.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Monitor cashflow and prepare forecasts.
\n
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
\n
• Maintain accurate financial records and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements.
\n
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
\n
• Provide financial support and commercial insight to the senior leadership team.
\n
• Liaise with the wider group finance function to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
\n

Salary & benefits:\n
