\nHappy Days is growing, and we're opening a second support hub in Swindon. This new location will help us support our nurseries and early years teams as we continue to expand.
\nWe're looking for a commercially minded Revenue Manager who can turn data into action. We need someone who can help us maximise income, improve processes, and support our nurseries to make informed decisions that help children, families and teams thrive.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team, shape our pricing and funding strategies, and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our organisation.
\nThe Role
\nAs Revenue Manager, you'll be responsible for managing income across our growing nursery portfolio. You'll oversee fees, billing, payment collection, government funding claims and revenue reporting.
\nYou'll lead a team of six and work closely with Early Years Managers, Operations leaders and the Finance Team to make sure income is recorded accurately and collected on time.
\nThis role combines financial knowledge with a good understanding of how our nurseries operate. You'll use data to spot trends, solve problems and help leaders make informed decisions about income and performance.
\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and working with others to achieve great results.
\nWhat You'll Be Doing
\n- \n
- Leading annual reviews of nursery fees and making sure systems are updated correctly. \n
- Producing regular reports and insights for senior leaders. \n
- Monitoring income across the business and identifying risks and opportunities. \n
- Forecasting future income and supporting cash flow planning. \n
- Managing billing, payment collection and debt reporting. \n
- Working with Early Years Managers to improve payment collection and reduce overdue payments. \n
- Making sure financial information in our nursery management system is accurate and up to date. \n
- Managing government-funded childcare schemes and other funding streams. \n
- Preparing funding claims and checking that payments are received correctly. \n
- Supporting new nurseries joining the group and helping them move into our ways of working. \n
- Looking for ways to improve systems, reporting and processes. \n
- Ensuring funding claims and reporting meet all required guidelines and regulations. \n
Leading and Supporting Others
\nYou will lead and support a team of six:

- Four Finance Officers. \n
- One Cash Collection Officer. \n
- One Funding Officer. \n

Essential Skills and Experience
\n- \n
- Experience in revenue management, commercial finance, pricing or a similar role. \n
- Experience leading, managing or developing a team. \n
- Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Experience preparing management reports and performance information. \n
- Experience managing billing, payments or income processes. \n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data. \n
- Experience using finance or business systems. \n
Desirable Skills and Experience
\n- \n
- Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, AAT Level 4 or an equivalent qualification. \n
- Experience working in a multi-site organisation ideally in childcare, education, hospitality, retail or another customer-focused business. \n
- Experience using nursery management systems such as Famly, Connect, EYWorks or Blossom. \n
- Knowledge of government-funded childcare schemes and funding claims. \n
- Experience supporting business acquisitions or integrating new sites. \n
- Experience improving reporting, systems or business processes. \n
- Knowledge of pricing, income management and business performance analysis. \n
