Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Support financial advisers and their clients by compiling research, writing suitability reports, and responding to technical queries.
  • \n
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the administration process, client file requirements, and FCA regulations.
  • \n
  • Maintain compliant client files and manage high-quality, accurate report writing across various financial planning areas including pensions, trusts, and IHT planning.
  • \n
  • Engage in discussions with advisers about client needs and objectives, and undertake research to identify suitable solutions.
  • \n
  • Conduct pension, income drawdown, and investment reviews, and prepare post-meeting review letters.
  • \n
  • Manage cashflow forecasting for clients and provide technical support for complex queries.
  • \n
  • Prepare investment materials, quotes, and illustrations for client meetings and suitability reports.
  • \n
  • Perform technical calculations such as Capital Gain Tax, bond surrenders/withdrawals, and pension-related figures.
  • \n
  • Ensure that recommendations are clear and understandable for clients and that all deadlines are met efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.or working toewards
  • \n
  • Seek mid level Paraplanning experience or above
  • \n
  • Experience in supporting financial advisers with a strong grasp of financial planning processes and FCA requirements.
  • \n
  • Proficient in report writing and performing financial calculations.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain strict deadlines.
