In this role, you will play a key part in creating a positive and supportive environment for both staff and young people, leading by example and helping the team deliver high-quality, consistent care.Key responsibilities include:Lead shifts within childrens residential homes (EBD and LD services)Support and guide residential support workers on shiftDeliver high-quality person-centred, trauma-informed careSupport young people with EBD, learning disabilities, autism, and complex needsAct as a key worker, implementing care and placement plansPromote independence, life skills, and positive outcomesEnsure compliance with safeguarding policies and Ofsted standardsComplete and oversee daily records, incident reports, and care documentationMaintain a safe, structured, and nurturing residential environmentWhat were looking for:NVQ Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent/working towards)Residential childcare experience, including supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.Experience supervising or leading staff teams in a care environment.Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to young peoples rights and development.Why join us?At Northridge, we know our people are our strength.
