Business Development Manager – Bearings, Power Transmission, LubricationWe are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Category team, responsible for the Southern Half of the Country.This is a varied and rewarding role, working with the extensive RUBIX sales network to drive growth & focus on the Bearings, Power Transmission & Lubrication product category, delivering both product and application knowledge to add value and maximise sales in RUBIX customers.The successful candidate will develop and own your sales & project pipeline, working closely with Core Assortment suppliers and internal product specialists to help customers reduce costs, improve efficiency, and keep their operations running smoothly.RUBIX support customers across the UK manufacturing sector, ensuring they have the parts, spares, PPE, tools, and tooling they need — while securing the best possible supplier deals to deliver value.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team, make the role your own while playing a key part in improving UK manufacturing performance.Key Responsibilities:Business growth at customers for Bearings, Power Transmission & Lubrication products & services.Represent and develop sales opportunities for RUBIX Exclusive brands (FENNER, Mecaline, PTN, AKN)Support the RUBIX network with product and application knowledgeElevate the profile of the category within the RUBIX network & the marketplaceDrive and Collaborate with RUBIX Core Assortment suppliers to grow sales and support the RUBIX networkDeliver product & market trainingRepresent RUBIX at customer and trade eventsReport on results, activities & Pipeline monthlyKey Skills:Strong product knowledge in Bearings, Power Transmission & LubricationExperience of the Industrial MRO marketEngineering qualification (preferable)Ability to confidently present the RUBIX offer & converse with customers / colleagues at all levels.Commercial Negotiation & AnalysisCompetent use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerBi Dashboards, Powerpoint etc.TPBN1_UKTJ
