This growth has been driven by a strong commitment to its people, a customer - focused service ethos, and continued investment in advanced technology and operational capability.Glennon Brothers operates a multi - site footprint across Longford, Fermoy, Enniskillen, Troon, Irvine, Windymains and Invergordon, providing a diverse and collaborative working environment across its Group brands and functions.Principal ObjectiveReporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of the timber frame kits.The Shift Supervisor will liaise with production and management to ensure hourly and shift production targets are met whilst encouraging/supporting continuous improvement.Knowledge & ExperienceExperience within timber frame, manufacturing, or a production environment, preferably in a supervisory or senior operator capacityStrong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and workflow managementProven ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience identifying and resolving operational or quality issues in real timeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work on a shift-based system and adapt to changing production demandsKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate production activities across the timber frame factoryMaximise throughput and efficiency of materials and labour utilisationDirect responsibility for people management of the team recruitment, onboarding, training, development and performance managementManage attendance, timekeeping, and general workforce disciplineDrive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the teamVerify all work is carried out in line with health & safety requirementsEnsure all work complies with established quality control standards through regular checks and monitoringOversee the accuracy of documentation associated with timber frame manufacturing and loadingPromote a culture of right-first-time quality across the teamLiaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed and to resolve issues efficientlyEssential CompetenciesExperience of timber frame manufacturingStrong analytic/problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.Dependable, flexibleFlexible approach to working.Enthusiastic & self-motivated and ability to motivate the team.Results driven whilst participating in a team environment.Strong communication skills (oral and written).Excellent attention to detail.Key Performance MeasuresAchievement of hourly and shift production targetsProduction line efficiency and downtime reductionQuality performance and reduction in reworkTeam productivity and engagement levelsHealth & safety compliance and incident reductionTimeliness and effectiveness of issue escalationKey RelationshipsProduction Supervisor / Production Manager operational alignment and escalationMaintenance Team equipment reliability and issue resolutionProduction Teams daily coordination and output deliveryContractContract Type PermanentHeadcountTeam Dependent on RequirementsBudgetN/AHoursFull time, 38.75 hours per week Shift RotationWorking Week Monday to FridayTPBN1_UKTJ
