\nIn the Caterpillar Underground Hard Rock Vehicle team, you have the opportunity to design, market, and support some of the most innovative products in the industry. As the Articulated Truck Product Value Stream Director, reporting to the Vice President Product Management, you will be responsible for the machine lifecycle value chain for Articulated Trucks produced in the UK within the Load and Haul Organization. This responsibility spans Product Support, Value Chain Engineering, and Product Engineering, bringing together the functions that drive product excellence throughout the machine lifecycle.

- Manage the machine lifecycle value chain, including product quality, stop‑ship, platform assembly processes, machine space claim and super bill‑of‑materials; drive the product strategy, options management and DTO options. \n
- Support assembly factories and interface with Systems & Components Value Chain teams. \n
- Deliver functional requirements from process partners, covering cost control, machine competitiveness, performance, reliability and durability. \n
- Integrate all activities into a continuous value‑chain flow, removing silos and ensuring connectivity from supply to decommissioning. \n
- Perform other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management. \n
- Lead a department of supervisors, managers and professionals, providing direction, motivation and performance evaluation of subordinates. \n
- Evaluate complex problems, review multiple solutions and select the best option. \n
- Monitor adherence to quality standards and develop action plans for suppliers performing below standard. \n
- Establish and monitor general policies and guidelines for projects to meet management goals and desired results. \n
- Drive key quality goals including customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, cost savings, process and part quality, internal quality certification and dealer repair frequency. \n

- Engineering or manufacturing‑related degree with extensive product design experience and knowledge of Caterpillar products. \n
- Progressively responsible experience leading global teams. \n
- Product support and aftermarket experience in lifecycle management and services. \n
- Experience in the value chain (procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, quality). \n
- Field experience with customers and dealers. \n
- Robust problem‑solving experience (LEAN, CPI, quality). \n
- Exposure to P&L from budgeting, R&D, product cost, warranty and revenue recognition perspectives. \n
- Understanding of company policies and procedures related to manufacturing, engineering or maintenance. \n
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and leadership skills to motivate staff worldwide. \n
- Ability to engage stakeholders, develop others and drive substantial product and cultural changes. \n
- \n
