This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.ResponsibilitiesLifting Operations Planning & ExecutionTake full responsibility for planning and overseeing all lifting operations, ensuring detailed lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments are in place and executed safelyTemporary Works CoordinationManage and coordinate temporary works related to lifting activities, ensuring designs, installations, and dismantling are carried out in line with approved procedures and engineering standardsCompliance & Safety AssuranceEnsure all lifting operations comply with LOLER, BS standards, and site-specific safety requirements, maintaining a strong focus on high-risk activity control in a fast-paced environmentSite Coordination & Contractor ManagementWork closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and crane operators to coordinate lifting activities, sequencing, and logistics across a large-scale, multi-disciplinary projectInspection, Auditing & Continuous ImprovementConduct regular inspections and audits of lifting equipment, operations, and temporary works, driving best practice, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions where requiredRequirementsMust have relevant qualifications & CertificatesMust have 5+ years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)Must be based within a commutable distance of Blyth, NorthumberlandBenefits£75,000 - £90,000 + PackageTPBN1_UKTJ
