Machine TechnicianPort Sunlight, Wirral£31,697 £35,119 per annum (dependent on experience)4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts days & nights)We are currently recruiting for multiple Machine Technicians to join a well-established manufacturing site. These roles will support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of production machinery.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to join a busy, high-volume production environment with strong team support and long-term opportunities.Key Responsibilities for this Machine Technician role:Carry out maintenance, repair, and fault-finding on production machineryWork directly on extrusion blow moulding machinesSupport continuous operation of manufacturing linesDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faultsConduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Ensure machinery is operating at optimum efficiency and safety standardsWork closely with production and engineering teamsAssist with machine improvements and process optimisationMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsRequirements for this Machine Technician role:Previous experience working as a Machine Technician / Engineer / Maintenance TechnicianExperience in Extrusion Blow Moulding (highly desirable)Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skillsBackground in manufacturing or production environmentsAbility to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights on a 4 on / 4 off rota)Good understanding of health & safety practicesIdeally able to drive or reliably commute to Port Sunlight siteSalary & Benefits for this Machine Technician role:£31,697.69 per annum (baseline salary)Up to £35,119 per annum for candidates with EDM experienceShift-based role (4 on / 4 off days & nights)Opportunity to join a stable and established manufacturing operationOngoing opportunities for career developmentRecruitment Process:Stage 1: Site tour & aptitude testStage 2: On-site interview with Engineering ManagersClick Apply, or contact Jamie Garcia - Courtice for more info:Thank you for your application.
