SEMH Teacher – SEMH Schools, APs & PRUsBristol & South Gloucestershire£150 - £235Connex Education is currently recruiting passionate and resilient SEMH Teachers to work across a range of specialist provisions in the Bristol area, including Alternative Provisions (APs), SEMH schools and PRUs.We are welcoming applications from Primary and Secondary trained teachers (including ECTs!) – all subjects considered, including core, foundation and specialist subject backgrounds.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact supporting learners who require a highly nurturing, structured and therapeutic approach to education.About the RoleAs an SEMH Teacher working with Connex Education, you will:Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across your subject specialism or general curriculumSupport pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to access learning in a safe and consistent environmentWork closely with support staff, pastoral teams and wider multi-agency professionalsImplement behaviour strategies and trauma-informed approachesHelp pupils re-engage with education and build confidence, resilience and positive relationshipsAdapt learning to meet individual EHCP targets and personalised learning plansHow SEMH Pupils May PresentLearners within SEMH settings often require highly skilled, patient and consistent support.
