About the Role We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Groundworker to join our operations team in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a site team undertaking building works, groundworks and remediation, primarily in relation to oil spill incidents at domestic properties. You'll play a crucial role in managing remediation operations, supervising team members, and delivering projects in a timely manner while ensuring all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise Remediation Operatives on site, ensuring their health and safety is maintained at all timesCarry out works under the direction of the SEED Contracts Manager and/or Operations ManagerRun projects according to previously agreed schedules and budgetsUtilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriateDrive machinery and undertake hand dig excavation works to facilitate contamination removalCoordinate ordering of materials and skips to site to maintain schedule of worksAssist with collecting photographs throughout all stages of works for comprehensive documentationCarry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations, including relevant RAMS documentationFollow structural engineer's drawings/plans to carry out propping works safely, including brickwork and blockworkEnhance skills such as OFTEC works to assist with spill response where necessary according to business needsRespond to emergency spill works outside of normal working hours when requiredEnsure sites are kept tidy, clean and safe throughout all project phasesAttend training sessions, toolbox talks, and team meetings as requiredSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise Essential Requirements: Experience in a similar role running construction projects on site with appreciation for health and safetyFull UK driving licenceGood general building knowledge with a willingness to learn new skillsStrong organisation and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of project budgets and timelinesAbility to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasksWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPositive attitude with a motivated approach and able to use own initiativeBasic DBS checkRight to work in the UKWillingness to work away from home when necessaryDesirable: OFTEC qualifications or experiencePrevious experience in oil spill remediation or environmental restorationExperience supervising and developing team membersKnowledge of structural propping worksJoin Us Youll be joining a business where your contribution matters and where professionalism, integrity and teamwork are genuinely valued.
