Job Description
At 4myschools, we are pleased to be supporting a range of welcoming and inclusive Nursery and Infant school provisions across Norwich who are seeking Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join their teams on a daily supply basis from September 2026. These settings place a strong emphasis on nurturing the whole child, providing a safe, stimulating and engaging early years environment where children feel valued, supported and encouraged to develop independence and curiosity through play-based learning. As a daily supply practitioner, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care and learning, supporting children across the EYFS, and working collaboratively with experienced teaching and early years teams to uphold high standards of care, safeguarding and wellbeing. Duties will include supporting planned activities, encouraging communication and social development, assisting with personal care routines where required, observing and responding to childrens individual needs, and promoting positive behaviour in line with each settings policies and values. Many of the provisions also support children with additional needs, so a calm, patient and adaptable approach is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery, early years or infant school setting. You will be confident supporting children aged 37, have a good understanding of the EYFS framework, and be able to adapt quickly to different environments on a day-to-day basis. Experience or subject knowledge relating to special educational needs is highly desirable. Availability for flexible, daily supply work from September 2026 is essential, along with a professional, reliable and enthusiastic attitude. Due to the location of schools across Norwich and surrounding areas, access to your own transport or the ability to travel independently is important. Working hours will typically align with the school day, offering an excellent opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance while gaining experience across a variety of supportive settings.TPBN1_UKTJ
