This organisation prides itself on creating safe, well-managed environments where older residents can thrive - and you'll play a key role in making that happen.Your new roleAs Housing & Customer Services Coordinator, you will deliver high-quality, customer-focused housing management across sheltered and retirement living schemes in the Lytham St Annes area. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you'll be the face of the service onsite ensuring customers receive responsive support and schemes operate safely and efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:Managing allocations and lettings in line with procedures, meeting void targets and maximising incomeAttending local authority allocations panels and liaising with care teams and key partnersEnsuring health, safety, wellbeing and safeguarding responsibilities are met across all schemesMaintaining a regular onsite presence, identifying and resolving housing or wellbeing concernsDelivering tenancy management, including enforcement and investigating ASB through to resolutionCompleting risk assessments, incident reporting and ensuring compliance with proceduresWorking closely with asset management to monitor repairs and keep customers updatedManaging purchase orders and invoices promptly and accuratelySupporting resident engagement, including arranging and leading customer meetingsResponding to informal complaints within required timescalesPromoting effective partnership working with local authorities, care providers and third-party agenciesWhat you'll need to succeedKnowledge of housing management legislation and tenancy management principlesExperience delivering excellent customer serviceAbility to travel easily between sites in a reactive roleStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse customersExcellent attention to detail and strong administrative capabilityAbility to work autonomously while contributing to a wider teamExperience in Over 55's Housing or sheltered/retirement living servicesResilience, adaptability and a customer-first mindsetMembership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (desirable)What you'll get in returnWeekly payAccess to Hays temporary worker benefits and supportOpportunity to gain experience within a respected social housing providerPotential for the contract to be extended based on performance and service needsThis role offers the chance to make a genuine impact - supporting older residents, improving communities and contributing to a positive, customer-focused team culture.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
