Quality Control Inspector | Cleckheaton | Full-time, Monday to Thursday 8:00 am 4:45 pm, Friday 8:00 am 12:30 pm | £30,000-£36,000 DOEOur client is a well-established subcontract production facility serving the valve, filtration and defence industries. Established in 1974, the company employs 35 people and operates around 30 CNC machines, generating an annual turnover of approximately £3 million.With decades of engineering expertise and a strong reputation for quality and precision, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team in Cleckheaton.The RoleThis role involves inspecting high-precision components to customer drawings and specifications, as well as other duties such as:Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspectionsInspecting components against customer drawings and quality standardsProducing inspection reports to meet customer requirementsUsing conventional measuring equipment, including micrometres, callipers and gaugesProgramming and inspecting components using CMM and vision measurement equipmentCalibrating internal measuring equipmentMaintaining the company calibration logInspecting small batches and one-off componentsWorking to tight tolerances in a high-precision manufacturing environmentSupporting continuous improvement and quality initiativesWorking collaboratively as part of the quality and production teamsRequirementsEssentialPrevious experience within a Quality Control Inspector roleStrong background in machining processes and inspectionAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings with minimal supervisionExperience using conventional measuring equipment, including micrometres, callipers and gaugesExperience working to tight tolerancesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAbility to work using your own initiativeExcellent organisational and record-keeping skillsA positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamDesirableExperience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)Experience programming CMM equipmentKnowledge of vision measurement equipmentExperience across various machining disciplinesWhats In It For You24 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysCompany pensionStatutory Sick Pay (SSP)Early finish every FridayTraining and development opportunitiesOpportunity to work for a long-established and successful engineering businessSupportive team environment with extensive engineering knowledgeStable, full-time position within a growing companyWhats next?
