Benefits: 30 days annual leave, Laptop, Phone & Comprehensive benefits package The role of a CAD Technician - Windows & Doors will involve:

\n
• CAD Technician position dealing with range of timber window & doors for residential & commercial sectors
\n
• Varied role that includes order processing, CAD design work and product development
\n
• Products supplied through to national & regional housebuilders, developers, specialist contractors and some end users
\n
• Producing and maintaining accurate production information
\n
• Ensure all products; drawings and documentation comply with the industry standards, regulations and building regulations
\n
• Liaise with external bodies, ensuring products and equipment are prepared for testing and approval
\n
• Develop and review technical CAD drawings in line with customer specifications and requirements
\n
• Provide support across estimating and production departments
\n
• Excellent opportunity to develop within the business, with clear scope to progress into a broader technical role
\n
• Overseeing project values ranging up to £2 million
\n

The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician - Windows & Doors with:

\n
• Must have CAD experience, ideally within the fenestration (windows & doors) sector
\n
• May be open to a candidate with experience within the steel, aluminium, building materials manufacturing or engineering sectors
\n
• Highly advantageous to have order processing experience
\n
• Must have strong IT understanding and skills
\n
• Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
\n
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
\n
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
\n
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
\n
