Registered Dental Hygienist

Position Summary
Our organization is looking for a committed and proficient Dental Hygienist to become a part of our vibrant dental team. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar buildup.
• Perform patient evaluations, which involve gathering medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
• Inform patients about effective oral hygiene methods and the significance of routine dental check-ups.
• Keep precise patient records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Apply aseptic techniques to maintain infection control during all procedures.
• Support the dentist during various treatments as required, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
• Safely and effectively operate dental tools and equipment.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as a Dental Hygienist, with knowledge of Dentrix being an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control measures.
• Exceptional patient care abilities with effective communication skills for interacting with diverse patient groups.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques is crucial for maintaining a sterile environment.
• Prior experience assisting in dental procedures is beneficial.
