Eligibility Criteria for the Registered Dental Hygienist Role:
- Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Hold an up-to-date CPR certification
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to oral health and patient well-being
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH):
- Educating patients on dental hygiene practices, including tooth care and nutrition
- Performing scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar buildup
- Taking dental impressions and/or radiographs
- Applying preventive treatments such as antibacterial agents, sealants, and topical fluoride to reduce the risk of cavities
- Conducting screenings and ongoing assessments of oral health
