Director of Women Health Center
Job Description
Our organization, affiliated with a prominent medical institution, is looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible general Obstetrician/Gynecologist to take on the role of Director of the Women's Health Center. This position entails dedicating 80-90% of your time to clinical services, which includes GYN surgeries, obstetrical care, management of labor and delivery, and outpatient services. The remaining 10% of your time will focus on administrative duties and program development. Additionally, this role involves teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students.
The selected candidate will hold a faculty appointment within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at our affiliated medical school. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a multidisciplinary team that serves a diverse patient population while engaging in both clinical care and research activities. Our facility is conveniently accessible via public transportation and by car from various locations across New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive clinical services in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Manage labor and delivery processes.
- Perform GYN surgeries.
- Oversee outpatient services.
- Engage in administrative tasks and program development.
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
- Current New York State medical license.
- Medicaid number and DEA registration.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
