Our organization is currently looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Urogynecologist who has completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). This position is part of a growing academic and community-focused women's health program in Kansas City. It offers a unique blend of an academic setting with the patient-centered approach typical of a community health system.
Position Highlights:- The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive care for women experiencing pelvic floor disorders, utilizing both surgical and non-surgical methods while enhancing clinical excellence, education, and program development.
- Key responsibilities encompass outpatient evaluations, inpatient care, and surgical procedures.
- The program provides a wide range of pelvic floor services, including advanced diagnostics, conservative treatments, minimally invasive techniques, and complex reconstructive surgeries.
- Dedicated robotic surgical block time is available at practice locations, supported by skilled surgical teams.
- Collaboration opportunities exist with six regional Obstetrics & Gynecology practices and four major hospital sites, serving as a robust internal referral network.
- Call duties are shared among providers, including the addition of Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and OBGYN physicians covering some nights.
- The service line prioritizes exceptional patient experiences, innovation, expanded access, physician collaboration, and the growth of specialized women's services across the region. Leadership is open to strategic involvement from subspecialists to foster future program development.
