Locum Onsite Radiologist Opportunity Near Great Falls, MT
We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to join our team starting in June 2026, with ongoing opportunities available.
Position OverviewThis role involves providing radiology services, including mammography and light interventional radiology (IR).
Schedule- Frequency: 2 weeks per month, preferably in consecutive weeks.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts; no night or weekend work required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various imaging modalities, including:
- CT Scans
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Mammography
- Nuclear Medicine (Cardiolites, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and bone scans)
- X-ray fluoroscopy exams
- Light interventional radiology procedures
- Perform image-guided biopsies and drainages using ultrasound and CT, as well as:
- Lumbar punctures
- Myelograms
- Thoracentesis
- Paracentesis
- Arthrograms
- Injections
- Utilize PowerScribe for dictation.
- Work with PACS using PAX Synapse.
- Privileges: Expected to take 2-3 months.
- Board Certification: Must be board certified, with ACLS and BLS certifications.
- EMR System: Familiarity with Meditech is required.
- DEA License: Required.
- Controlled Substance Permit/Radioactive Materials License: Not required.
- Licensing Flexibility: The organization is willing to wait for licensing, which typically takes 1-3 months; IMLC accepted.
Travel and lodging expenses will be covered by the organization.
Compensation and Benefits- Referral Bonus: $2000 for any referral who completes 160 hours of work.
