Registered Dental Hygienist – Tuscaloosa, AL

We are on the lookout for a personable, reliable, and collaborative Registered Dental Hygienist to enhance our expanding practice in Tuscaloosa, AL. While we welcome both full-time and part-time applicants, preference will be given to those seeking full-time positions.
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, boasts a solid patient community, and fosters a supportive team atmosphere. We have established systems aimed at ensuring a healthy work-life balance and preventing burnout. You will be joining a dedicated group of two dentists and eight team members who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
Work Schedule- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Friday shifts are rotated among hygienists, providing opportunities for additional Fridays off throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding patient care and education
- Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis
- Perform periodontal charting, probing, and therapy
- Take digital radiographs and cone beam CT images
- Capture necessary digital photographs
- Apply sealants and preventive treatments
- Ensure accurate patient records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide comprehensive care
- Current Dental Hygienist license
- Prior experience in dental hygiene is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Integrity, reliability, and professionalism
- Positive and friendly demeanor
- Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Dentrix is advantageous
- Hourly rate: $25-$35
