Locums CRNA Opportunity in Virginia.

Locum CRNA needed to start ASAP and work a 3 month assignment with option to extend at a facility near Pantops, VA. VA license required.

• Shift Details: Requires weekly availability - prefer not to rotate weeks on/weeks off.
\n
• Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week - 3 12s and would like Saturdays and Sundays too if they can work weekends.
\n
• NO LOCALS, Must live 50 miles from the facility.
\n
• ACLS & BLS Certifications MUST BE VALID and COMPLETED THROUGH THE AHA.
\n
• Must have COVID & Flu Vaccine.
\n
• Patient population/age: 13 - end of life.
\n
• Department Description: Level 1 trauma center. We have 60 CRNAs, along with about 70 Attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents.
\n
• The anesthesia team covers 33 OR in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms.
\n
• Skills required: All CRNA scopes of practice.
\n
• Cases the clinician will not be doing include: open heart/thoracic, peds, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocks.
\n
• Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum experience required, preferably academic background and level 1 or 2 trauma experience.
\n
• Will consider outpatient-only candidates but would prefer someone with recent experience in inpatient settings.
\n
• Require one year of Academic Medical Center or Level 1 trauma center experience required. But otherwise prefer to have experience working regularly with ASA 3+ patients.
\n
• Board Certification: Required.
\n
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
\n
• License required: Virginia.
\n
• EMR: Epic.
\n
• Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 30 days.
\n
• $1000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
