Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000

Position Overview

Our facility in Southbridge, MA, is on the lookout for a Gynecologist who aligns with our mission and values. Join our team of skilled gynecologists who provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive and wellness examinations that detect early signs of cancers and other chronic conditions. For patients experiencing reproductive health issues, we conduct thorough evaluations to identify the underlying causes, focusing on helping them achieve excellent outcomes through standard therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, urgent visits, and annual check-ups.
• Offer counseling and education regarding disease management and prevention for patients and their families.
• Deliver comprehensive care, including detailed history and physical examinations, reviewing medical records, and ordering necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests to establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with consultants.
• Serve as a resource for training and onboarding new team members.
• Manage in-basket tasks to ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care while maintaining clear communication with staff and colleagues.
• Complete all outstanding medical records as required by departmental needs.
• Provide on-call services as needed for the ambulatory practice.
• Offer emergency room and inpatient call services as required by hospital privileges.
• Maintain all necessary credentials, including state licensure and board certifications.
• Commit to ongoing quality improvement and adhere to institutional and departmental policies and health regulations.
• May involve supervising and training advanced practice providers (APPs).

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral Degree (MD or DO).
• Licensure: Current Massachusetts State License, Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration, and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
• Certification: Board eligible or board certified in the relevant specialty or specialties.
