Job Opportunity: Advanced Imaging Cardiologist

The Division of Cardiology at our organization is looking for an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to become part of a dynamic clinical and academic program. This position provides a chance to collaborate with esteemed professionals utilizing cutting-edge technology to offer cardiovascular diagnostics throughout the Chicagoland region in a supportive and growth-focused atmosphere.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • Focus on Advanced Imaging: Specialization in echocardiography (including TEE), MRI, CT, and/or nuclear cardiology.
  • Academic Role: Engage in teaching and mentoring cardiology fellows.

  • Patient Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications:
  • Fellowship Training: Completion of a Cardiology Fellowship and board eligibility.
  • Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
  • Medical License: Must hold an Illinois medical license upon appointment.
  • Advanced Imaging Training: Level III certification in one or more of the following: Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CT), and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR).
  • Experience Required: Background in Nuclear Cardiology, TEE, CT, and Cardiac MRI is essential.
  • Additional Skills: Training or interest in acute care cardiology and/or cardiac critical care is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Starting Salary: Ranges from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
