This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, dependable, and comfortable managing journal entries, reconciliations, and the full-cycle close process.\n

\n Temporary Staff Accountant Duties\n
\n
    \n
  • Prepare and post complete journal entries, taking ownership from preparation through final posting
    • \n
  • Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
    • \n
  • Perform full-cycle month-end close responsibilities
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
    • \n
  • Assist the Accounting team with financial reporting and accounting projects
    • \n

\n Temporary Staff Accountant Requirements\n
\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • \n
  • Two to four years of professional accounting experience
    • \n
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
    • \n
  • Experience independently preparing complete journal entries and account reconciliations
    • \n
  • Experience managing full-cycle month-end close responsibilities
    • \n
\n
\n Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm\n
\n
\n This position is fully onsite at Verstela’s Corporate Office in Bensenville.\n

\n Pay: $33.50 to $35.00 per hour\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
