Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Oncology RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for RNs with over 2 years of acute care experience. New graduate RNs may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Terms and eligibility for the bonus will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation: Hourly rates range from $36.00 to $49.16, translating to gross earnings of $432.00 to $589.92 for a 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime is compensated according to applicable laws).

Shifts: 12-hour shifts available, including days, nights, and mid shifts.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will ensure safe, patient-centered care within the Oncology/Infusion Center, providing direct patient care in line with clinical standards and scope of practice. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct care to oncology patients in an infusion environment.
  • Administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions according to established protocols.
  • Conducting patient assessments and monitoring treatment responses and side effects.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
  • Ensuring compliance with oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
  • Communicating clinical changes, lab results, and diagnostic findings to physicians.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborating with the oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and valid state RN license.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification is preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
