Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating freight, maintaining efficient warehouse processes, and ensuring a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. This role is responsible for coordinating freight, maintaining efficient warehouse processes, and ensuring a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound LTL and truckload (TL) shipments.
- Schedule deliveries and ensure timely receipt and shipment of materials.
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations and lead a small warehouse team.
- Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and documentation of inventory.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support production and material flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution environment.
- Experience coordinating LTL and truckload freight shipments.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Forklift experience and familiarity with material handling equipment.
- Working knowledge of UPS and Fed Ex Shipping software
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based inventory systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
